Film Fest Gent & Brussels Philharmonic record film music of Ryuichi Sakamoto

Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Dirk Brossé and Galaxy Studios completed the recording of Film Fest Gent’s anthology of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s film & TV music oeuvre (ao ’Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence’, ’The Last Emperor’ and the recent ’The Revenant’). During the upcoming World Soundtrack Awards Gala, organised by Film Fest Gent on Wednesday 19 Oct, Ryuichi Sakamoto will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding career as fim composer.
