He never wanted for his son to become like him. And when once little Kaz had almost lost his life in the car explosion which was a trap set for Thomas, ever since that day he promised himself to keep his son away from this business. As well because of this fear and his own disgust to himself he always had pushed his son away. After Kaz’s mother had left Thomas, he became even more distant and cold. But he had always ever did everything to protect Kaz, trying to make him stronger and to make sure he’d stay away from this path of life. I originally had this idea back when s1 came out as I’ve spotted on some similarities and how well Kaz could fit in that setting, however it wasn’t only until recently after s2 when this idea just sparked back in me and which I’ve mentioned to my friends who encouraged me to try to do it. I’ve started on 2 projects from this little AU of mine, but as knowing me I’ve ended up with the more sad one which shows much more on this little background story.
