China - Sandaoling, Serving the Opencast Mine (2). December 2018

This sequence shows Part 2 of a brief compilation of loaded trains leaving the opencast coal mine at Sandaoling in China’s Xinjiang Province. Loaded trains have a long slow struggle to climb back up towards the summit before going on to the unloading points. This is my closing sequence from my 2018 visit to this remote location ... and, possibly, my last ever visit there. Recorded in December 2018.
