For over 20 years the United States was allowed to use Shannon airport as a military base, a permission granted to them by the Irish government. Two Renegades hopped over the fence of a base from which the US used to wreak havoc across the world. Arrested and sent to court, they managed to turn the case on its head, as in the end, it was the Irish foreign policy that was put on trial.
