Garbage - Sex is Not the Enemy & Why Do You Love Me [T4 On the Beach]

Televised event for Channel 4’s T4 programming strand took place in Weston-super-Mare for the first time on 19 June 2005. Hosted by the T4 team of June Sarpong, Vernon Kay, Steve Jones and Miquita Oliver, T4 on the Beach was broadcast live for over three hours on Channel 4. The line-up featured Garbage, Kaiser Chiefs, UK indie band Athlete, pop princess Rachel Stevens, Rooster, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, Akon, Tony Christie, prince of UK R ’n’ B Lemar, Mario, Doves, Mylo, Feeder, Daniel Bedingfield, Audio Bullies, Madness, Bobby Valentino, the Bodyrockers, Magic Numbers, Hard Fi and The Subways. Almost every act appeared on stage for a couple of songs and the next act would be setting up in a three minute window while June interviewed the act to the side of the stage.
