Igor Grom (Major Grom: Plague Doctor) | Fighter

WARNING: spoilers, violence Well, first of all, yes, I am Russian. Secondly, this film was released in my country and I’m not even ashamed of it. Finally! Frankly, I watched Major Grom: Plague Doctor about 2 months ago. But yesterday Netflix released it on its platform and I’m a little bit confused... On the one hand, I really liked this movie. It is bright, dynamic and pretty funny. The film was made by people who have a great passion for superheroics and comics. On the other hand, I can see that Major Grom: Plague Doctor has some problems and I’m not sure if this movie is capable of surprising, for example, an American audience. Superhero fiction is a natively American genre, and Major Grom is unlikely to bring something new to it (but in fairness, the creators still tried to destroy several popular clichés). Anyway.
