Das Album und die folgende Tour überraschten und begeisterten das Publikum mit zeitgemäßen und modernen Interpretationen der Deep Purple-Klassiker, wie z.B.“Sail Away“. On their 12th longplayer, “The Purple Album,“ released in 2015, Whitesnake dedicated themselves to the time in the 1970s, when David Coverdale was vocalist to Deep Purple. The album and the following tour surprised and inspired the audience with contemporary and modern interpretations of the Deep Purple classics, such as “Sail Away“.
