The Trooper (classical guitar cover) is on Thomas’ first Nylon Maiden album which is available at This arrangement is similar to the guitar version (rearranged for 4 strings) including most essential guitar parts of Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, bass lines of Steve Harris and of course Bruce Dickinson’s vocals. The Trooper was originally released in 1983 on the Piece Of Mind album and has an official video. It has been part of every Iron Maiden live set ever since. Thomas has released multiple versions of The Trooper before (all on guitar) including a collaboration with Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper / Iron Maidens) and with Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden singer).
