The Day the little green men didn’t attack Earth! - for theremin and orchestra

Musique : Maxime Aulio Thérémine : Thorwald Jørgensen Musique des sapeurs-pompiers de Paris Commandé et produit par la Société des Amis de la Musique des Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris Captation : Andiamo Productions - Composer Maxime Aulio on his composition: “The nearly absurd title is a reference to the fact that the vast Sci-Fi cinematographic literature, sometimes related to real scientific data, has contributed to make the idea of outer space life possible, and very common for everybody nowadays. Indeed, the theremin has contributed to the UFO and other flying-saucers success, especially in the 50’s SF movies. It’s even hard today to not associate its bewitching, outer-space voice like sound, to the SF films with their extraterrestrial invaders. That work is definitely an hommage to these movies and their soundtracks; and it tells another crazy story of space invaders, who actually don’t invade our world. Our imagination risked creating the fear… It has been composed during the COVID pandemic situation and confinements; so, there are a few winks to that period of time also.“
