Sikorsky S-97 Raider Attack Helicopter First Flight

Sikorsky S-97 Raider high speed attack helicopter for the U.S. Army began bladed ground runs on February 4th and complete it’s First Flight yesterday, May 22, 2015. The coaxial counter-rotating main rotors and pusher propeller are expected to provide cruise speeds up to 240 knots (276 mph).
