LIVE: Chinese rocket booster deorbit imminent - Live Tracking!

On 29 April, China launched their new space station’s core module Tianhe-1, on a Long March 5B rocket. The rocket’s first stage core booster achieved orbital velocity, and China was unable to execute the planned deorbit burn. The 23-ton booster’s orbit has been steadily decaying, and it is expected to deorbit and crash possibly in the south Pacific Ocean, early on Sunday May 9th at about 12:19 am EDT (04:19 GMT).
