Palaye Royale at When We Were Young Fest, 10/23/22

I saw Palaye Royale at When We Were Young Fest in the Neon Tent. The stage rotated after Poppy’s set to reveal Emerson’s drums. Palaye Royale have quickly become one of my favorites so this show was especially exciting. It was special for the band to be playing a hometown show especially one this big. Remington followed the band out to open with Nightmares. They played You’ll Be Fine after. Remington came into the crowd for a minute to sing. Next they played No Love In LA off the new album Fever Dream, out tonight! Next they played Fucking With My Head followed by another new one, Punching Bag. One of my favorites is the title track off Fever Dream. They closed the short but impactful set out with Mr. Doctor Man.
