George Jackley (1933)

Titles read: ’We now present the well-known comedian George Jackley assisted by Joe Peterman and Vera Warriner, In a Comedy Act “BIGGER & BIGGER“’. Pathe Studio, London. On a set dressed to look like a country lane we see comedians George Jackley, Vera Warriner and Joe Peterman telling riddles to each other, all concerning a family that live in Rose Cottage - Mr and Mrs Bigger and their little baby. The riddles are all about who is the biggest of the three. It’s quite funny and well-delivered. Vera seems the cleverest of the three - she knows all the answers to the riddles! George is fairly clever but Joe seems a bit dim. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
