The Longplayer Orchestra - How’s Life on Earth? (2013)

Swedish The Longplayer Orchestra has its roots in the pop-tradition of the 60´s, 70´s and 80´s. These decades are the group’s main source of inspiration and the influences are prominent. The Longplayer Orchestra´s debut album contains nothing but original songs, but quotes from our idols are certainly not few and nor are they far apart. The Longplayer Orchestra started it´s career in 2010, strongly inspired by the sound of ELO, The Electric Light Orchestra and Jeff Lynne. There is also influences from The Beatles, Elton John and Tom Petty. The Longplayer Orchestra pays tribute to Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra.
