DOUBLE HELIX - Nanine Linning & Bart Hess

Dance Company Nanine Linning presents: Double Helix / Future Lab Implanted chips to improve performance, chimeras, designer babies, a stop to the aging process - technologically it all seems increasingly feasible, which raises a variety of ethical issues. The exhibition and performance project Double Helix / Zukunftslabor Offenburg is dedicated to the effects of biotechnological developments in our society and within our bodies. The exploration at the interface between man and machine, technology and philosophy, this project not only combines visual art, video and live performance. Interactive elements for the audience turn each of the approximately one-hour guided tours into an individual Gesamtkunstwerk.
