Storm Lidia and Max, Flash flooding raged in Acapulco Tropical Storm Max hit Mexico’s southern Pacific coast Monday, as the country braces for a second punch from Tropical Storm Lidia. This afternoon the powerful effects of Tropical Storm Max were felt with abundant water falling into the port. According to the report from the Civil Protection Secretariat of Guerrero, the damage caused by tropical storm Max is concentrated in the municipalities of Zihuatanejo, Petatlán, Tecpan, Coyuca de Benítez, in Costa Grande; while on the Costa Chica in Azoyú and Ometepec, Acapulco and in the Central region in Chilpancingo, Juan R. Escudero and in the Mountains, in Tlapa.
