Cross RC BC8 Mammoth | King Kong CA30 | Scale RC Waterfall Trail Crawl

Andrew and Terry of AnT R/C came over from the chalky wastelands of England recently to see just how frightened their pampered southern trucks could get. There were several breakdowns and at times the wheels came off, but their trucks were fine. Oh ho ho. Unfortunately, Sunday saw the sea coming out of the sky, so we headed for these spectacular waterfalls instead of the hills, to shelter from the wind, if not the rain. I drove my fairly stock CA30, and Andrew drove his custom ambulance version – man that thing looks incredible. He built that rear box entirely from scratch; check out his videos on building it on their channel. Meanwhile Terry – having bypassed its dodgy Russian electrics the day before – drove his BC8 Mammoth. This truck is seriously epic, especially in the flesh. Terry generously let me have a drive of it too, and really... it’s amazing. Unlike any other RC I’ve tried. It’s an unusual construction, too.
