A mom of five from Donbass helps the men who fight Nazism It’s truly a people’s war that’s going on in Donbass now. The entire local population is helping the Russian military. Alyona is a resident of a Donbass village and a mother of five. Her family and friends, have been helping the soldiers for the last five months. The helpers wash the uniforms and underwear for the soldiers returning from combat missions on the front line. Alyona’s washing machine is working from 8 a.m. through late at night, without a break. Of course, she’s doing it for free! The family now plans to set up a proper large laundry room in the garage. According to Alyona, local people have very warm relations with the servicemen, many of whom are like family to her.
