The Penguins travelled to Winnipeg to complete the second half of back-to-back games, looking to get back in the win column after yesterday’s 3-2 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Wild. Scheifele opened the scoring for the home team, netting his 15th of the season midway through the opening period. Niederreiter doubled the Jets’ goal total only five minutes later. In the 2nd period, Bryan Rust was able to deflect a shot from Erik Karlsson, giving him his 13th goal of the campaign.
