What works: For composed shots with no focus pulling, where you might want to change your framing with a zoom instead of moving the camera Closer or farther away, this is an interesting choice. The main problem is that you need to focus on both the adapter and on the lens, which is quite clumsy a process even when mounted on a tripod. In this scenario, the adapter is more trouble than it is worth. I will say however that the adapter is somewhat forgiving in that you can achieve acceptable focus without super precise adjustment. Nevertheless, works bet when you carefully compose your shot and your subject remains at same focal distance.
