KULT News paid a visit to the Dana G. “Buck” Rinehart Public Utilities Complex in Columbus, OH on Sept. 14, 2023 and we found resistance to a free press right at the front gate. When we got inside the complex and parked in visitor parking we were greeted by Security Specialist Darius Perkins. Darius called the police on us and his education on the First Amendment began. We only received one threat of a lawsuit this day so I feel like we’re slacking. For any bird watchers, we do see one bird flown our direcion at the 31:15 mark from an angry young woman that came out of the building we were recording.
