In August 1985 the single Shot in the Night was released , which reached the German charts at the end of September and reached number 37. With I Am Alive , the successor rose to the German charts in March 1986 and climbed to number 45. The singles I Feel Good (I Feel Fine) and The Witch-Queen of New Orleans , also released in 1986, missed the chart entry. With the exception of The Witch-Queen of New Orleans , a cover version of the American band Redbone’s 1971 hit , all of the songs on Saphir’s only studio album, Perfect Combination, were written by Mick Hannes and Walter Gerke.
