Pearl Harbor (2001) - ’Attack’ scene [1080p]

There’s a lot to criticise in this film, which is disappointing because it had great potential. Still, if you trim down the 3 hours you can find many great shots, and several moments where Hans Zimmer’s score shines. His trademark action music, with an extra dose of drums, does the job well here. This music is the opening of the ’Attack’ track on the soundtrack album, but covers the departure of the Japanese planes, rather than the actual attack. Starring Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale, Jon Voight, Cuba Gooding Jr., Dan Aykroyd, Colm Feore, Tom Sizemore, Jennifer Garner, Michael Shannon, William Fichtner and Alec Baldwin. Written by Randall Wallace and directed by Michael Bay, who also produced together with Jerry Bruckheimer. Original score by Hans Zimmer.
