Chinese authorities have urged people to limit the number of trips and gatherings ahead of the Lunar New Year due to a surge in COVID-19 infections. But China have stopped short of banning travel altogether. Hospitals and crematoriums are under pressure. The World Health Organization says hospital admissions and deaths are being under-reported.
