Camera Interviews - Mrs E. Macavity, The Artist (1922)

Mrs E. MacAvity - an artist from Nova Scotia - is given special sittings at St. James’ Palace to paint a portrait of the Prince of Wales. We see the artist in her studio (or possibly a set) with the portrait applying some finishing touches. She looks directly at the camera as if we are her subject. She then gives “her girlie“ a mouse (for no apparent reason!). C/U of girl (her daughter presumably) holding a mouse. Mother drinks a cup of tea and watches as the mouse crawls over her daughter’s hands. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
