GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Hurricanes () | Crosby and Guentzel Score

The Penguins had a big win the previous evening in Tampa, and they were looking to carry that momentum further north against the Carolina Hurricanes. Pittsburgh got off to a strong start, with Jake Guentzel scoring his 27th tally of the season until 5 minutes into the contest. Sidney Crosby notched a goal of his own as well, and the Penguins headed into the first intermission with a 2-0 lead. Former Penguins forward Jordan Staal got Carolina on the board in the 2nd period, and Staal scored again for the Hurricanes in the 3rd.
