Slade - My Baby’s Got It

January Years day and a treat in store for Slade fans up and down the it could have been....... instead those that were able to get home from work early enough to watch ITV’s ’Get It Together’ (hosted by the irritating Basil Brush straightman Roy North) were pretty disgusted at the two tracks featured. First off there was the risibly awful version of the ’Okey Cokey’, followed by this really poor offering from anything summed up Slade’s career as being a Z list band it was this showing on this children’s TV show. In over 20 years of video editing I have never bothered to make any sort of ’clean’ version of this track, or indeed the Okey here is the first ever SIE re-edit.............. Whatever happened to Roy North?
