Young’s Double Slit FDTD 3

2D FDTD Yee algorithm simulation of an off-center line source in a Young’s Double Slit Experiment. The source is placed 1 wavelength above and 5.3 wavelengths off-center of two 1/25 wavelength wide slits separated by 6.8 wavelengths. The simulation is run using a 500x500 cell grid with spacings of 1/25 wavelength and a time-step set to 1/4 the maximum allowed time-step. A 25 cell wide PML layer with a polynomial profile is used to absorb the wave as it reaches the boundary. Plots produced using Matlab, code
