Hall of Famer Series: Ted Wong

Ted Wong. Bruce Lee was without a doubt, one of the most popular and influential martial arts of this century. He opened the doors for all Asian actors and martial artists across the globe. Although Lee didn’t teach for a long time, he first had several schools but closed them down to teach privately and of course, the movies kept him very busy. A handful of students were taught by Lee in his backyard. Ted Wong was one of those handpicked by Lee. Speaking Lee’s Chinese language, the two become very close friends. In fact, Ted was his sparring partner and all the new moves he learned for jeet kune do, was with Ted. So, Ted became the first person to really learn jeet kune do. Here, we provide a look at the life of the icon and Museum Hall of Famer, Ted Wong. #martialarts #hunggar #siulum #pekkwar #arkywong #kungfu #museum #hwarangdo #martialartsmuseum #swords #swordfighting #lua Be sure to subscribe to the museum’s Official YOUTUBE CHANNEL “Martial Arts History Museum“ Plus, check out the museum store Join us for our $5 MILLION EXPANSION CAMPAIGN to help us relocate to a larger facility.
