Ukraine votes to legalise medical marijuana

우크라이나, 의료용 대마 합법화 국회 통과 Over to Ukraine now, where the country’s parliament passed a new law on Thursday to legalise medical marijuana with thousands suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to the war with Russia. The new law, proposed by Prime Minister Denys Smyhal, passed by a 248-vote majority in the 401-seat parliament in Kyiv and will come into effect six months after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signs the bill. According to one lawmaker medical cannabis is needed and will benefit 6 million Ukrainians including cancer patients.
