Vlog: Meeting My Sister Halfway Between L.A. and Vegas Date of Adventure: 5/28/20 I loaned my camera to my sister, who lives in L.A., but I needed to borrow it again so I could take some selfies in my new Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders costume. Rather than risk her shipping it to me, since gas is cheap right now we decided to meet for lunch at the halfway spot between her house and mine -- in the middle of the desert, in the middle of a heat wave! On the way home, I stop at the World’s Tallest Thermometer in Baker, CA, to see how hot it really was. YIKES!!!
