Bert Kaempfert - Me Lo Dijo Adela

A presentation inspired by Bert Kaempfert’s version of “Me Lo Dijo Adela“ probably better known under its English title “Sweet and gentle“. Accompanying pictures of Cuba, the country where the cha cha cha originated. In fact, it was this particular song that introduced the cha cha cha in the US in the mid fifties (be it not in Bert Kaempfert’s version but in several vocal versions) This Kaempfert title can be found on the album “That latin feeling“ (of which 2 covers are included in the presentation).
