China: Cleanup efforts underway following deadly Henan flood

Subscribe to our channel! Cleanup efforts continued in the town of Mihe on Sunday, after Henan Province had been hit by a deadly flood that killed at least 63 people. Volunteers and emergency workers were seen hauling off debris and damaged belongings, as well as using cranes to remove the rubble. “It was flooding for two days and two nights. When the three major floods came, the town leaders took us to patrol the river for safety reasons because we are in a mountain torrent zone, where outbreak can easily happen. Then the next morning the communication was cut off, the roads were interrupted, the national highways were all smashed, and all the houses, property, and factory buildings were destroyed,“ said Mihe village committee member Zhao Liting.
