This video presents all the singles that have debuted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, starting with Michael & Janet’s “Scream“ back in 1995. Until now, 16 hits have opened at #5. Note: “From This Moment On“ Shania Twain moved from #34-5 on the week dated December 5, 1998, but that number 34 was from a test chart used prior to including airplay-only singles on the Hot 100. As the methodology for compiling the chart changed the week in which “From This Moment On“ was available at retail, the song did no
