Woodturning: The Root Burl!

There were so many ways to orient this unique piece of Manzanita root burl on the lathe, and I had originally intended not to use epoxy resin. However, when it was clear that I could not achieve the shape I was going for without losing too much of the character from this wood, I had to bite the bullet, as they say, and throw this piece into some delicious plastic. Let me know what you think of this piece by leaving a comment below! I read all of them and respond to as many as I can. Thanks to Total Boat for the thickset epoxy! This stuff worked wonders and did not crack, even though I poured almost 3 liters of resin and a 7 inch deep pour. I never had to fill a single crack with filler or CA glue (discount/affiliate link below).
