Building the Terminator EP8 Jaw Pistons

These are only small parts but quite a lot of work goes into them. I thought they deserved their own episode as some people make these to replace the ones on the vinyl/resin skull kits. The drive you see me dismantle at the start is an old CDROM drive. Most drives of this type contain one or two 3mm diameter hardened chromed steel rods (and a host of other useful components!) In this series of videos I’m covering the building from scratch of a full size working Terminator T-800 robot (endoskeleton).
