Who were the pioneers of our breed in Sweden? Who were the first Pharaoh Hounds here and where did they come from? The first Pharaoh Hound in Sweden was imported in 1972 and her name was Merymut Nepthys. She also became the very first show champion in Europe. During the 70’s 12 Pharaoh Hounds were imported to Sweden and almost all of them were bred from. This video features pictures of all but one of them - as I could not find any picture of Twinley Ta’Qasam.
