B-52 “Stratofortress“

B-52H strategic bombers take off from Barksdale Air Force Base. An exercise was conducted at the base to test the readiness of all sides of the 2nd Bomb Wing of the US Air Force. This exercise showed the capabilities and aspects of the air base, from medicine to maintenance. Exercises of this nature ensure that the 2nd Bomb Wing can provide the country with victorious combat power. The B-52H Stratofortress is capable of carrying various types of weapons, including nuclear weapons. It still remains one of the main long-range bomber aircraft of the US Air Force and will remain so until at least 2030.
