Apocalyptic scenes in Downtown Buffalo from once-in-a-generation #blizzard with snow drifts 15 feet high stranding motorists. Emergency vehicles buried in snow drifts. Hundreds of motorists standed last night. Storm chase Brandon Clement (@wxchasing) and I helped transport residents to a warm shelter. The intense lake effect snow band has moved back in to Downtown Buffalo this evening with another two feet of snow possible.
