This is an animated bar race plot showing the top 10 character power levels in the Dragon Ball anime series from Dragon Ball episode 1 through Dragon Ball Super episode 131. About power levels and the numbers I used: Power levels act as a general gauge of a character’s overall fighting strength in Dragon Ball, which encapsulates a combination raw strength/destructive power, speed and durability. Official power level numbers are only known for a small subset of characters at a few snapshots in time. Thus to create a plot like this, most of the power level numbers had to be created/estimated by hand
