Boli is a traditional Punjabi dish, easy & quick to make, prepared with cow or buffalo colostrum milk, the first 1-2 days’ milk from the animal, following its delivery.
Much more nutritious than the usual milk, it contains high levels of antibodies to fight bacteria and infections in the newborn. It builds up immunity and improves the gut health as well. It is richer than milk in protein, vitamins A, C, Bcomplex & E, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, disease-fighting proteins, growth hormones, and digestive enzymes.
