Lanvin Fall 2012: A Carnival Atmosphere at Alber Elbaz’ 10th Anniversary Show | Paris | FashionTV

SUBSCRIBE: PARIS - Perhaps the best way to describe the spectacular 10th anniversary runway show for Alber Elbaz’s 10-year tenure at Lanvin is triumphant. Models walked down the runway with attitude, signifying the happiness and power Elbaz has been feeling now that he has consistently done an excellent job at Lanvin and he’s celebrating the moment. The clothes celebrated the moment, too, but in a different way. From the front row, Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo has said that Alber Elbaz is a man with a lot of love inside of him and that love is just bursting out in these pieces with their lush jewel tones (green, red, purple) and fun embellishments like ruffles and flouncy hemlines (like the short velvet dress worn by Karlie Kloss.)
