(AoT) Eren’s freedom

TW drowning I had this video planned for a while but I didn’t really find the right music for it until I listened to this one yesterday and really liked it. I used a video from the drowning simulator game (there’s a link to the video below) because to me, Eren’s search for freedom is like drowning. Eren’s obsession with being free made him the least free character in the series, and made him a slave to it. Maybe some parts of him were already free and he never noticed. For example, Armin’s freedom was to be able to see the ocean. So in Armin’s perspective, you could consider Eren free. Manga spoilers ahead so don’t read if you just watch the anime . . . . . . . But Eren kept moving forward and on his way, hurt a lot of people, caused the death of his friends, the same friends he told “I want you to have long lives“, for the sake of his freedom.
