In this video I talk about my supported spindle that I bought from Mirkwood Arts on Etsy () and the spinning bowl I bought from Viking Santa on Etsy (). I remember being thrilled to receive and use these tools, even when it was wholly new to me. I had seen a few videos on how to spin with these spindles (a few that were in Russian), but I was still unsure how different it would be compared to a suspended spindle (drop spindle).
