Warlus Songs France 1975, Acid Psych

Warlus - Songs (France 1975, Acid-Psych) Ultra rare, totally cult and still overlooked french DIY rarity, recorded in 1975 and released two years later as a private edition of only 200 copies on Le Kiosque D’Orphee a legendary label (that was also a very famous parisian studio for self produced artists) (but ), Warlus - Songs could be regarded as one of 5 rarest french psych private pressfrom the 70’s. Warlus was the brainchild of young musician Richard Maubert, who created a mini- masterpiece of twisted, melancholic fuzzed-out psychedelic pop, with a charming homemade sound/production and druggy atmosphere. Sung in English, it also brings to mind some obscure acid folk american private pressings. This is a very special record that will appeal to both psych aficionados and fans of 70s DIY weirdness. To rank with your Dandelion or Les Temps Heureux. Tracklist: 01. Listen To The Warlus 02. Geegee 03. Girl Like You 04. My Souvenir 05. Blues Man’Blues
