Making a SILVER SIGNET RING with a 1958 ENGLISH SHILLING coin. ASMR.

A signet ring historically depicts the family coat of arms and were used as a signature to authenticate documents sealed with wax. Here I turn the shield design of a 1958 sterling Silver Shilling into my own signet ring. The base ring is a plain silver band and I flatten both the top of the ring blank and the obverse of the coin so they can be soldered together. Following this I use the belt and disc sander to carve out my contours until the two pieces look as seamless as possible. Finally several stages of polishing to bring the ring to a near mirror finish.
