Jump Across the English Channel | Ron Obvious | Monty Python’s Flying Circus #montypython

Audiovisual services: Dubbing / Post-production / Regular video to HDR / Subtitling i@ Ron Obvious of Neaps End (Terry Jones) runs along the shore, with hopes of being the first man to jump the English channel. He is interviewed prior to his attempt, noting that his manager, Luigi Vercotti (Michael Palin) told him it would be easier to jump over water than dry land. The interviewer (John Cleese) speaks to the reluctant Vercotti just before Ron’s failed cross-channel jump. Vercotti states that Obvious’ next attempt at a feat will be the following week, his goal being to eat Chichester Cathedral. Ron tries to eat the cathedral, but injures his teeth. Ron’s next event is to tunnel from Godalming to Java.
