Joan of Arch (Milla Jovovich) having arrived just last night in Orleans; a French city on the front lines of the 100 Years War, is in a deep sleep. Suddenly she is awoken by a premonison of “French blood being spilt“ and quickly dawns her armour to ride to battle. When she arrives she finds the French retreating in disarray from a English outpost, rallying the remaining French they surround the outpost which is quickly sealed off with a drawbridge.
