Watch Titanic Sink in Real Time: This documentary was created for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of HMHS Britannic, sister ship of the infamous RMS Titanic, in November 2016. This full-length animation of the Britannic sinking, beginning with the impact of the mine and ending with her sinking, is in real time. This is a complete animation; not a short animation that was slowed down to match real time. This is also highly accurate as the team has contacted many well noted Britannic and Titanic historians for their input and resources on this project: Mark Chirnside Jack Eaton Charles Haas Richie Kohler Michail Michailakis Simon Mills Mike Poirier Bill Sauder The documentary also includes narration from noted Titanic historians: Daniel Klistorner Ken Marschall Parks Stephenson Including narration from producer of our game, “Titanic: Honor and Glory,“ Matthew DeWinkeleer, and many survivor accounts from a voice cast of actors: Ellen Gilbert Olivia Gilmer Nigel Hampson Scotty Lorenz Thomas Lynskey James Penca Dan Smith Jordan Toovey Annelies van Overbeek Nicholas Walsh Ophelia Wollny Rossin Wood A clock is included in the top right corner keeping track every five minutes, including key moments. The animation was created in Unreal Engine 4. The model used is a combination of parts recycled from our T:HG model, re-textured models, older models created by our team, and a few new bits made just for Britannic.
