This is Michael’s version of “Come Prima“, a 1958 hit by Mario Lanza from the movie of the same name. Mario Lanza, like Elvis Presley, is one of Michael’s idol’s and greatest influences. (Lanza was one of Elvis’s favorites too.) It is amazing what a rich, full, beautiful baritone voice this young man had (still has). He was only 17 at this time.
